Motorola has officially announced their Xoom tablet, which have been a hot topic in the past few days. The official announcement has revealed that Motorola Xoom tablet is going to using Android 3.0 HoneyComb instead of looking back to Android Gingerbread version.
Since the company want their tablet to run on Google’s upcoming Android 3.0, their specifications have tuned for the eligibility to run the system. Motorola has added more tasty features like front-rear facing camera with the rear camera has better sensor (5MP) and capable of recording HD video in 720p format, can playback 1080p movies, has HDMI output port, support 3G, 4G LTE (available in Q2 of 2011) and a set of functionality like accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope and compass are not the stuffs that Motorola want to miss.
Sadly, Motorola haven’t revealed the full specs of this cool baby and the pricing is yet to known.
Motorola Xoom Tablet top Features
The Motorola Xoom Tablet will come with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also features a dual core 1GHz processor.The Motorola Xoom Tablet offers support for Full HD video playback in 1080p, there is also HDMI out and an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope and a compass.
The Xoom tablet will go on sale shortly as a 3G device, Motorola will also be launching a 4G LTE version in quarter two of 2011, there are no details on pricing as yet.
