Motorola Mt710 Review

Motorola has recently introduced the latest smartphone, Motorola MT710 with an enhanced touch screen. The phone is expected to arrive in China through its mobile operator, China Mobile. The device features a FWVGA show touch screen based on the Phone Platform enhanced 1.5 version and is 3.7 inches wide while supporting a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.

The smartphone also incorporates a camera of 5 Mega pixels. The MT710 provides accessibility to the Internet via Wi-Fi or the TD-SCDMA network of China Mobile. Users may download apps by using the China Mobile Mobile Market. The mobile phone can support ambient light sensor, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, proximity sensor for Auto Turn-off and a single-axis accelerometer.

The phone has a Marvell processor of 624MHz clock speed, Android-based Phone 1.5 as the operating system, Flash ROM, microSD card slot of 32GB capacity, TV receiver CMMB, internal storage of 4GB, a GPS receiver and a RAM of 256MB. The phone includes a 3.5mm headset jack, virtual keyboard, micro-USB connector, back/menu/home buttons that are sensitive to touch. A speakerphone is present in the phone.

The phone incorporates a camera of 5Mp with a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels and features digital zoom of 2x, dual LED flash and Autofocus feature. The other features include a phonebook with a capacity of 1000 contacts, HTML browser, MMS, IM, SMS, Email, Push Email, Photocall, FM stereo with RDS, games which you can download, Voice memo, Document viewer, Organizer and Photo viewer/editor.

Also, the smartphone will support A-GPS, Java through a third party app and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. The special features include Maps, Google Talk, YouTube, Gmail and Google Search. The device can, in general, support 2G GSM and 3G HSDPA networks. The smartphone also supports TD-SCDMA 2010/2025 MHz and EDGE 1800/900/1900/GPRS/GSM MHz networks.

Also, the phone can support audio formats such as AAC+ v2, AMR-WB, AAC LC, AMR-NB and AAC+ as well as video playback formats such as H.263 Profile 3, Level 0/0b, H.263 Baseline Profile 0, MPEG-4 Simple Profile and Level 10/45.

The Motorola handset is available in two colors- Red and Black. The smartphone has a standard battery of Li-Po. The MT710 will be available in China from the 28th of December. The pricing of the smartphone is not yet known.
